Power Supplies
Most Cetacea Sound audio systems have external power supplies. This is for the same reason that portable computers have external power supplies; it saves weight and allows us to upgrade as new technology becomes available, particularly for energy savings in accordance with Energy Star®.
Tip: In the case that your power supply fails, please recycle it according to local laws. Older sup-plies can be returned to us for a 25% discount on a new Energy Star® model.
Connections
You can find connection diagrams for our products on this website under the Literature section. Refer to these diagrams for instructions when connecting to common devices like computers, DVDs, VCRs, portable CD players, iPods, iPhones, projectors, satellite and cable TV receivers. Please contact Customer Service if you don’t find your specific application.
Tip: A child’s speech development is heavily influenced by everyday sounds, from a parent or teacher’s speech pattern to media devices like the television! Having the proper sound system connected to your television, video system or game station is absolutely critical to your child’s proper speech development. “What they hear is what they learn to speak.”
Speaker Placement
Cetacea Sound’s patented, highly forgiving, omni-directional horn design, allow for placement almost anywhere in the room. It is not necessary to have the speakers set far apart to obtain the full benefit of our patented sound technology. In fact, our stereo system comes prewired so that the maximum distance between speakers is only about 6 feet. Placement is not an issue because the sound our technology produces is true surround, not just stereo.
Tip: Our space saving speaker designs allow for placement almost anywhere: tables, bookshelves, sofa tables, ceilings, etc. They can be placed off to the side of the room if desired without affecting the surround sound quality.
