Installation of Cetacea Sound speaker systems should adhere to Good Installation Practices and Standards as published by several certifying agencies, including the AEA, AES, and the ICIA. These practices and standards are assumed in the advice that follows.

Plenum Considerations
Cetacea Sound speakers are designed so that all cables can be run “below” the ceiling, thereby avoiding plenum space. However, it is popular to run cable above false ceilings thereby entering plenum space and falling into the CODE TRAP. Make sure you have a clear definition of what is and what is not plenum space from local code enforcers before beginning your installation.
We offer a variety of long-run signal and power cables that meet NEC (National Electrical Code) and many local, building, and safety codes. Make sure you understand the local code environment before planning your installation.
